Ever since this hyper-kinetic quartet landed among us, circa 2002, direct from semi-rural New Zealand, they have been one of rock's great live attractions. Like AC/DC, The Ramones & Mudhoney before them The Datsuns transcend tribe/genre boundaries. They're just fuckin' ace, & pretty much everyone knows it.

Their new album, Smoke & Mirrors , which is actually their third in four years, at last establishes the breadth of what they're about musically & will leave fans & sceptics alike gobsmacked at how much bigger, bolder & better The Datsuns have become, without losing touch of the trashy, poppy kicks of old.

With first single, System Overload , already receiving a good old fashioned flogging on Australian radio, & the album about to drop, The Datsuns are proud as punch to announce their return to these shores for a run of shows in November.
