The Datsuns Australian Tour January 2008 |
The Datsuns are undoubtedly one of rock'n'roll's great live attractions. They transcend genre boundaries, generating their very own brand of riff-mangling, speaker-stack-toppling electricity, which has earned them legions of adoring fans compulsively drawn to the power of their performance. Spawned in semi-rural New Zealand circa 2002 their antics have now seen them traverse the globe many times over, most recently relocating to Germany to work on what will be their 4th album, slated for release in early April. With the band back in New Zealand for a bunch of O-Week dates thru February & March, they naturally did not want to let their Australian fans down so have managed to squeeze in just 3 shows before heading to the US for further touring.
