Handsome Tours are proud to present Caroline Rose making her Australian debut this November, in anticipation of their new album Gentling The Horse At The Walt Whitman Mall, out October 23.

Caroline will take on The Lansdowne Hotel in Sydney, and Smith St Hotel in Melbourne, following an expansive run supporting Modest Mouse in North America. 

Australian audiences will experience the new album live for the first time, as Caroline Rose brings their new tracks to life – including the album’s singles ‘Chow Mein’, fan favourite ‘Yip Yip Yow’, and ‘Calm’ / ‘Hello Again, Jim’ both released today – across two intimate Australian solo shows this November.

Caroline Rose has built a career defined by reinvention, razor-sharp wit, and a fiercely independent presence. Blending psychobilly, pop, shoegaze, alt-country, folk, electronic, and rock music, they move fluidly between sonic worlds while maintaining a singular artistic voice. Their albums The Art of Forgetting (2023), Superstar (2020), Loner (2018), I Will Not Be Afraid (2014) and America Religious (2012) have featured in a slew of Best Albums and Songs lists across NPR, Rolling Stone, Paste, Bandcamp, with further support from KCRW, Nylon, Uncut, a performance on Late Night With Seth Meyers and across radio locally including FBi Radio, triple j, Double J, RTR FM, Triple R, PBS and many others.
