“absolutely astounding… high-energy and unaffected pop punk.”
Consisting of Augusta Koch, Allegra Anka and Kelly Olsen, Cayetana formed in early Autumn 2011, creating do-it-yourself poppy jams full of raw sound and energy. Learning and growing together, these friends have crafted a style that is unquestionably organic – from the affecting vocals and rolling, imaginative bass to the steady, spiky drums. Their resulting debut album, ‘Nervous Like Me’, was released in 2014 to underground acclaim, seeing Cayetana tour with fellow Philly natives Beach Slang, Waxahatchee and Modern Baseball. The trio followed up in 2016 with the all-new “Tired Eyes” 7-inch on Asian Man Records (The Smith Street Band).
“quality indie rock with folky songwriting and punked-up energy.”
Don’t miss Cayetana’s Australian debut this September!
