Australian Tour March 2023
Red Bull Symphonic will return twice as large in 2023, with multi-ARIA award-winning Ghanaian-Australian artist Genesis Owusu joining forces with Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
The unique performance experience will take place on March 23 at presenting partner, the Sydney Opera House, in the world famous Concert Hall with Genesis Owusu and Sydney Symphony Orchestra combining forces.
For the return of Red Bull Symphonic in 2023, Red Bull calls upon one of Australia’s most innovative contemporary artists, Genesis Owusu, to collaborate with 40 piece Sydney Symphony Orchestra, and award-winning Australian composer and arranger, Alex Turley (Sydney and Melbourne Symphony Orchestras, Omega Ensemble, Electric Fields, NGAIIRE). After two years of career highs, Owusu will soar to new heights as two arts worlds collide at Red Bull Symphonic, promising a captivating reimagination of his acclaimed catalogue of poetic punk and electronic hybridity that has earned a worldwide following.
Genesis Owusu says of Red Bull Symphonic “If you’ve seen me perform live, you know I love the drama. Bringing out the grandeur in every element. What’s grander and more theatrical than a punk-funk-rap enigma backed by a 40-piece orchestra? We getting real thespian out here.”
Promising a one-of-a-kind experience, do not miss music renegade and visionary Genesis Owusu live as you’ve never seen him before with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at Red Bull Symphonic in 2023.
