However the project soon evolved when Droste began to collaborate with Christopher Bear and it was this incarnation that was to realise Grizzly Bear’s first album ‘Horns of Plenty’. By the end of 2005 friends Daniel Rossen and Chris Taylor had also joined the pair and the full band recorded the critically acclaimed album ‘Yellow House’ in 2006 with Pitchfork calling it one of the year’s best records.
