Since playing a sell out small venue tour of Australia in November 2005, Sweden’s José González has witnessed his popularity skyrocket. He’s generated massive interest in the US where his album, “Veneer”, has just been reissued by Mute, had this album go top 10 in the UK, & he’s even cracked the charts in New Zealand, where “Veneer” will be a gold record very soon. He’s also seen his profile in Australia follow suit with thousands now having discovered the ethereal beauty of his music through the “Crosses” & “Heartbeats” singles, the latter featured in a well known TV advertising campaign.
