Civil Society and Popfrenzy are proud to announce the return of Brooklyn’s stage-crazy LES SAVY FAV.

Formed in 1995 after emerging together from Rhode Island School of Design, Les Savy Fav has grown to be considered amongst the godfathers of the modern New York rock scene. While many popular contemporary bands hailing from Brooklyn have achieved stardom largely thanks to buzz in the blogosphere, Les Savy Fav have earned their success slightly differently: the old fashioned way. Les Savy Fav will be joined by Sydney’s punk upstarts Straight Arrows.

Crucial to their success has been the release of 5 studio albums on Frenchkiss Records (founded by the bands bassist Syd Butler), culminating with the release of their fifth album ‘Root for Ruin’ earlier in 2010. More importantly, however, the bands success has risen from their consistently energetic and engaging live performance, which has earned them the reputation of being one of the most entertaining and wild acts of today.
