Like the sweet but scary Swedish film Let The Right One In, the same country’s beautiful Lykke Li lulled us into a false sense of security with her brilliant, brittle and very sweet 2008 album Youth Novels and standout tracks like ‘Dance Dance Dance’, before revealing a darker and simultaneously more intriguing siren side to herself in ‘Get Some’, the compelling (while just very slightly disturbing) first single from excellent 2nd album Wounded Rhymes. Rave reviews for her live shows suggest that you should give in to your curiosity and make sure you see her at Parklife.
