Britain’s Maximo Park write extraordinarily infectious pop songs about real life. All but unknown outside their native Newcastle a year ago, their debut album, “A Certain Trigger”, containing such radio faves such as “Apply Some Pressure”, “Graffiti” & “Going Missing”, has deservedly thrust them to the fore through it’s honest, direct & highly energetic songs & front man Paul Smith’s arresting & unique voice, & emotionally open lyrics.
