Mount Kimbie are a project that can usually be found at the atmospheric outskirts of dance music. For over 15 years, they have been at the vanguard of electronic experimentation. Across four studio albums, the duo has continually refined their approach to texture and tone, evolving once again with The Sunset Violent—a 2024 release that drifts through shoegaze, post-rock, and ambient garage. Now, in 2025, Mount Kimbie return to Australia, bringing their restless sonic evolution to the stage.

Beyond their live prowess, their DJ sets showcase some of the most left-leaning, atmospheric edges of dance music—a thumping mix of galloping techno, electro, and ambient garage. For this tour, they bring both dimensions of their artistry to Australia: a full live show at the Sydney Opera House, Brisbane’s Princess Theatre, and The Forum in Melbourne, alongside specially curated DJ sets in Perth, Adelaide, and at RISING’s Day Tripper.
