J HUS (CANCELLED)
Sugar Mountain January 2018
***TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT***
Astral People and Handsome Tours are sad to announce that J Hus is no longer able to make his scheduled appearance at Sugar Mountain 2018 in January 2018. “I’m truly disappointed that I won’t be able to appear at Sugar Mountain due to circumstances out of my control,” says J Hus.”Big thanks to all my Australian fans for their love and support.. will be working hard to reschedule dates as soon as possible.
————————————
East London’s J Hus will be making his way out to Australia in January 2018 for Melbourne’s Sugar Mountain Festival.
J Hus is one of the hottest propositions in British music today. His 2015 mixtape 15th Day all but created a new genre, and he was quickly crowned King of the scene, amassing millions of plays on YouTube and Soundcloud with singles such as ‘Dem Boy Paigon’ and ‘No Lie’. J Hus can’t be defined or confined by genre. Boasting an ebullient blend of Dancehall, Afrobeat, Grime and R&B, his 15th Day mixtape is a musical revelation, an emotional rollercoaster ride into the inner musings of an inner city teen and a startling debut offering.
As well as building an ever-growing online audience, Hus has also garnered support from Tim Westwood, Krept & Konan and Jamal Edwards, all of who feature in the video for Lean & Bop, J’s first official release on Black Butter. An unabashed Afrobeat-accentuated party anthem, Lean & Bop shows off Hus’s more pop inflected persuasions.
